Asia Society video clip of the revisit of the Irish veterans of the Korean War

The Asia Society Korea Center interviewed some of the veterans when they visited in April. The short clip recounting their experiences and their impressions of modern Korea is well worth watching.

The Eclipse – film by Conor McPherson (I Went Down, Endgame) showing in Ewha Womans University

“In a seaside Irish town, a widower sparks with a visiting horror novelist while he also begins to believe he is seeing ghosts.”

This is a great chance to see Conor McPherson’s well received (76% on Rotten Tomatoes) film The Eclipse (2009) which is showing at Arthouse Momo, the cinema on the campus of Ewha Womans University. The film might be there for the next 2 weeks (but we’re not certain!). Directions to the cinema are here.

(Thanks to Mike Duffy for the tip – if you have other Irish in Korea type leads let us know so we can spread the word).
