  1. Your organization could also be involved in promoting native Irish English teachers to join KOTESOL, which is an English teachers organization comprised of native English teachers and nonnative Korean English teachers. This organization helps English teachers develop their teaching craft by attending workshops and conferences throughout Korea. They can network and meet other English teachers and form valuable contacts and future friendships. They could get a better teaching job in a university, public school, or possibly even a hagwon. The organization is a friendly, approachable, and down-to-earth group made up of English teachers of all experiences and backgrounds ranging from neophytes to experts. It is a collegial and friendly unit that strives to help English teachers thrive and adjust in a new nation and culture. If you have any questions, check the organization’s website at http://www.kotesol.org. Though I am Korean-American, I am using this website to help spread the word of KOTESOL.

(Is this the right place to post this?) You may like to post a link to the RTE recording of the closing event of President Higgins’ state visit to Britain, available for 3 more weeks.
Two hours and more at the Royal Albert Hall, with Donal Lunny, Andy Irvine, Breanndán Ó Beaglaoich, John Carty, Michael McGoldrick, Brendan Power, Martin Hayes, Dennis Cahill, Iarla O’lionaird, The Gloaming, Seamus McGuire, Elvis Costello, Imelda May, and more.
